Victory Day Parade In Anti Ukraine Donetsk DPR

Today is a huge holiday for the Russian people, it marks the 75th anniversary of the surrender of German in 1945. 26,000,0000 Russians were killed in WWII. To put that into comparison the USA lost less than 300,000. So you can see why this holiday is so important to the Russian people. It is their blood it is their family they are honoring.  In 2014 the Government that took over in Ukraine after removing the president of Ukraine, Victor Yanukovich, right of the bat tried to make all Russian holidays including this one no longer holidays in Ukraine. It was just crazy to the people and helped lead to the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republic breaking away from Ukraine. Today In Donetsk, in a heavy downpour and despite the coronavirus and restrictive measures, a memorial rally was held in honor of victory day. A small number of people also laid flowers at the monument to “ Your liberators, Donbass“
