While arriving at the dining hall at TBS for a meal, someone noticed this Phoneutria spider taking refuge under one of the tables. It was very aggressive - poor thing was probably frightened silly with all the humans circled around - and consistently oriented toward whichever human was closest. Someone claimed that these spiders have been known to charge - which is why when it struck the ground in front of it when I approached (see video) I withdrew quickly.
