Just a quick demo of how to create Tangerine Dream style sequences from Rubycon part 1 - I was always perplexed how the faster riff was created before I got the 960 and realised Chris Franke was switching in 3rd row control of timing on the last 4 steps of a 6 note sequence for that bit. This is definitely how this sequence was produced - you can feel and hear minutes in on rubycon side one the button is pressed. I have yet to find a way of syncing this cv controlled clock in this specific mode as master or slave to or from other devices - any advice from pro modular users? I think 3rd row control of timing is a unique fly by pants solo performance maybe and not syncable to a master clock like I use for my main setup? They yearned for accurate tuning and synchronisation back in the 70s but were more adventurous than us today.
