Ann Arbor Film Festival Executive Director Leslie Raymond and Program Director David Dinnell discuss the 16mm touring program, screening December 11 at 8pm at MOCAD. For the first 40 years of its existence, 16mm film was the sole format for the Ann Arbor Film Festival, the nation's longest running festival for experimental and independent film. Although artists have continued to create vital work with this format, the opportunities to see it projected have become increasingly rare. The 52nd AAFF Touring Program presents 14 new films from Denmark, Argentina, Canada, Germany, and the United States, all projected in their original and intended cinematic glory.
