Tenchu series: Outside of a single exception, Ayame's mission are the same as Rikimaru's missions but with altered dialogue. In terms of ability, Ayame is faster but lacks reach and isn't as strong as Rikimaru. Originally, this was going to be a 100% kill run to differentiate it from the Rikimaru run but the numbers of enemies per variation is different and I ended up spending tons of time scouring levels. It might sound like a fun idea but it quickly stops being fun 15 minutes into a mission and after the 20th spearmen. As usual for PS1 games, I'm using Vulkan rendering along with PGXP. Beetle accurately reproduces slowdowns. Note that this is segmented and there are edits. The game has some pretty lengthy transitions as well, which I edited down. I played on normal difficultly.
