The anaconda, a massive snake native to South America, is one of the world's largest and heaviest snakes. With females capable of growing up to 30 feet long, they can weigh over 550 pounds. Despite their imposing size, they are non-venomous and use constriction to overpower prey. Their ability to swallow large prey whole and go without food for long periods makes them impressive predators in their natural habitat.
