Honda Gyro-Cator Navigation System 1981

Introduced in August of 1981, the Honda Gyro-Cator was the first GPS of it's kind. Using helium gas in a specialized gyro, car movement and position was able to be tracked while a servo on the transmission allowed the computer to monitor speed and distance.
