Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko took his best friend to work with him on Tuesday. During a visit of military personnel in Oshmyany district, Lukashenko was accompanied by his dog, a Spitz named Umka, who seemed to have put on quite a bit of weight. Despite now being on the chonky side, Umka was nevertheless a very well-behaved dog, listening attentively as Lukashenko discussed military matters with the troops. This isn’t the first time Umka has been out and about with Lukashenko, the Spitz is the president’s companion at many events, first spotted back in 2020, and is now a firm favorite with the public.
