This workshop will teach participants how to reliably use small and open language models as components in larger procedural generation pipelines and game systems. Participants will use few shot learning and function calling to let language models generate resources and interact with game state at runtime, and learn how to use Godot's resource system and signaling system effectively for these use cases. ----- Simon is a data scientist and game designer who has been talking to computers for twenty years.
