️ ️ ️VOSTOK FORCE GROUP LIBERATED ISKRA SETTLEMENT IN DPR ️ ️ ️ As a result of decisive and competent offensive actions of the 36th Guards Brigade of the 29th Army of the Vostok Forces Group, another settlement on the border with the Dnepropetrovsk region was liberated - ISKRA. Iskra was a large (more than 700 buildings) and well-fortified defense hub of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, another “gate“ to the Dnepropetrovsk region. The enemy stubbornly tried to prevent the loss of the settlement, but the Transbaikalians broke the resistance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and liberated Iskra from the enemy presence. As a result of the battles for Iskra, the 36th Guards Brigade established control over a section of land of more than 25 square kilometers, the enemy lost up to a battalion in manpower and equipment. After the liberation of Iskra, only two settlements remained in the southern part of the DPR under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces - Aleksandrograd and Kamyshevakha. Transb...
