#vo2max #vo2maxtest Vo2max is your body’s maximum capability to transport oxygen at maximal physiological efforts. There are some athletes with very high Vo2max percentages who are not very fast, respectfully. That being said, there are others with lower Vo2 max levels who are much, much faster. A vo2 max test is the very best way to get an indication of how efficient your body handles lactic acid at high intensities. It is just one of many factors exercise physiologists look at to determine how efficient an athlete is at varying paces and intensities. This is a short video about what I think of it.
