Ludwig Gschossmann was a German painter best known for his Impressionist depictions of fox hunts, picnics, and lavish ballroom scenes. Gschoosmann’s work employed loose brushstrokes and bright highlights, similar to the artists Otto Pippel, Lovis Corinth, and Max Liebermann. Born around 1894 in Munich, Germany, he went on to study stage design in Hamburg before attending the Munich Academy of Fine Arts. At first, the artist painted realistic landscapes, but would go on to produce works in an increasingly impressionistic technique. He was also a member of the Münchner Künstlergenossenschaft, a Bavarian artist-cooperative. Gschossmann spent much of his life living and working in the rustic town of Tegernsee, Germany in the Bavarian Alps, where he died in 1988. ♡♡ NB : If you are the copyright owner of
