Ever wondered what goes into keeping a huge Caterpillar D11 Bulldozer moving mountains? In this video, we're tackling a worn duo cone assembly off a Cat D11 final drive spindle. We’ll show you the step-by-step process of replacing the old ring with a brand new, upgraded one. We'll be heating things up (safely, of course) to remove the old protective ring, then it's over to our big lathe for some precision machining. We’ll make some metal chips and sparks fly as we create the perfect seat for the new and improved duo cone retaining ring. But that's not all! We'll also be putting our big radial arm drill to work, meticulously drilling and tapping the new bolt holes. So, buckle up and join us as we give this D11 final drive spindle the overhaul it deserves! In this video we are using: - Shenyang CW6280B Lathe - Hafco ZX3050X16 Radial Arm Drill Join our channel: We upload new videos every Friday at 5pm AEST!
