In “Goldmind” I share a personal journey and explore the features of the upcoming “ACPAD surface”, the descendant of ‘World's First Wireless MIDI Controller for Acoustic Guitar' that has profoundly influenced my life and musical evolution. We tried to blend MIDI-controlled light manipulation, projection mapping, and LED strips in a seamless one-shot video. It unfolds across 11 parts, fusioning technology and musical expression. The name “Goldmind” ist inspired by three words: “Goldbrunn,“ the name of the farm where I grew up; “Goldmund,“ the character from Hermann Hesse's “Narziss und Goldmund“; and “Goldmine,“ the fusion of “mind“ and “mine”.
