In this latest collection of oil paintings “Equus y Mujer” Royo has once again surprised us, as he often does. Years back we unveiled a show unlike any the artist had ever created, Equus y Momentos. The collection featured his classic figurative style but incorporated the theme of the horse into the compositions. The paintings were big and bold in scale, composition and color! With this collection we saw the introduction of metallic paint to his pallet, a creative and welcomed addition. The paintings were an immediate success with collectors! This will be Royo's final Equus collection... Enjoy!
