A versatile Indian classical dancer, 'Natya Mayura' awardee Mr. Parshwanath Upadhye has carved out a niche for himself today as one of the most sought-after male dancers in the country. He is the winner of eight national awards, and an empanelled artist of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations. In this talk, he performs Bharatanatyam, and speaks about classical dance not just being a form of entertainment but an alternate education system that is slowly disappearing.
