BO-105 Demonstration Flight (Pilot: Charly Zimmermann)

The official Eurocopter demonstration video from the early 1980s. Karl “Charly“ Zimmermann (1978 & 1981 world champion in Helicopter Aerobatics) demonstrates the low level flight capabilities of the Bo-105. The Bo 105A made its maiden flight on the 16th February 1967. In the mid 1970s until late 90s the Bo-105 has been well known as anti-tank-helicopter. Being the first light twin-engined helicopter in commercial service, it gained widespread use also over rural areas (police and EMS / medevac) as well as offshore.
