Please drop your thoughts about one of the best Roland arranger of the 90's in the comments ! Roland RA 800 Realtime Arranger was released in 1996. It's the expanded module version of the G-800 and is quite similar to the Roland G-1000, part of the pro arranger series from Roland. The same year Roland also introduced the E96, an home arranger version of the above models. Today's video focuses on the sounds only. Since it was promoted as a professional arranger, this RA800 sounds very good. The acoustic pianos are pretty weak if played in solo (short samples), but they do an ok job if played in the mix. The electric pianos are great as well as the pads and strings which are simply impressive.
