1959. The Collector's Series was comprised of 2 models of the Stanton Stereo Fluxvalve cartridge: The 380A for transcription turntables (yellow stylus grip); and the 380C for automatic/record changers (red stylus grip). The 380 was Pickering's second generation of stereo cartridges and was advertised as the “finest pickup available“. The Collector's Series appears to have only lasted for one cartridge model and was discontinued in 1962. It wasn't until 1990 that the Collector's Series returned with the release of Stanton's CS100 cartridge.
