Follow on twitter for daily updates: In Bloodborne, there are a lot of areas featuring unique assets and situations that only last for a few minutes, or even a single room, and I wanted to expand these levels to get more use out of the assets and give my self an opportunity to create new content as the demake will only be up to the Father Gascoigne boss fight. But onto new features: The first thing worth mentioning is the new rat enemy. These enemies are weak but can be dangerous in groups. They also link to jump around, making them difficult to hit. The rat comes in two varieties, normal and poison. This leads us to the next feature: Status Effects. It operates similarly to how it does in classic soulsborne. Poison, Rapid Poison, and Frenzy are all currently supported, with room for expansion later if I want to (I might make fire and bolt paper use this system instead of how they are normally handled, for example) To make this new area mandatory, I added a 'Sewer Key' which is
