Built from 1985 it's more of a sample-player than drumcomputer. 11 PCM-voices in 12 bit. You can't edit/change the sounds. Those were inspired by the Simmons SDS-V. 80ies galore. There is no metronome (except for the blinking light), so to tap-write a rhythm gets funny results ... The DR-220 E has no midi-connection. But has trigger-in's to be voltage controlled. #bossdr220 #vintagedigital #vintagedrummachine . Copyright: Achim Sauer/7V-Studio
