Thousand Oaks, Calif. resident Abby Sunderland, 16, aims to break a world record for the youngest person to nonstop solo circumnavigate around the globe. She departed on her journey in her boat, “Wild Eyes,“ on Saturday January 23 from Marina del Rey. Abby's brother Zac became the youngest person to circumnavigate the globe by yacht in July 2009.
