Titles read: 'NOW Pathe Pictorial presents - TWO MORE STARS of the Radio Firmament - Beryl Orde and Eddie Pola in “JAZZ JUSTICE“. The scene is a mythical Police Court where many distinguished defendants (all impersonated by Beryl) are placed “on the spot“.' Probably filmed at Pathe Studio, London. In a set dressed to look like a court room we see Eddie Pola as a judge calling for various defendents on a charge of drinking after hours in the Blue Horse nightclub. Beryl Orde impersonates each defendant - American film actress Zasu Pitts (she of the wringing hands and “oh my!“), comedienne Mabel Constanduros and her grandma, Scottish song and dance team Renee and Billie Houston (Renee in black curly wig, gruff Billie in blonde wig) and finally, Gracie Fields. The judge invites Gracie to have some supper with him at the Blue Horse night club. Her reply is “Eeh bah gum!“. FILM ID:1622.1 A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
