Mr. Thomas Bleming of Wyoming is planning to fight for the people of Karen's freedom in Myanmar (Burma). The Karen people are an indigenous group who've been fighting the Burmese military for nearly 6 decades. Mr. Bleming tells KTWO television how he went to Burma and the Republic of Kawthoolei to write a book and how he ended up falling in love for the people and their cause.
