Josh Allen of Fairview nursery in Vista California (@fairviewplants on instagram) is someone I met at one of our recent pop up event and he had then invited me to come down and visit him - today was finally the day and I must say I was completely delighted by the incredible array of aloes, cycads, agaves, dudleyas and cactus that josh has planted into the ground in a truly breathtaking backyard habitat that makes the primate in me calm if only for a few fleeting moments.
