Orphaned fawn decides my son is his new mommy

My son found a fawn alone near the side of a highway where a doe had been killed. We contacted a local wildlife rescue and they said to wait several hours to see if its mother returned. The mother did not return, so we can only assume she was the doe that was killed. We took this video before transporting it to the wildlife rescue where it was raised with other orphaned fawns until it no longer needed milk and could forage on its own. It was successfully released in the fall.
