The City of London - A City Within A City

The City of London is a separate city within in the greater city of London. It is the financial center of the United Kingdom and the oldest part of the city. The Romans settled here almost two-thousand years ago. It contains some of the oldest and newest buildings in the city from St. Paul's Cathedral to a building dubbed the “Gherkin.“
