jeremybernstein Yule! Part 2- Sometimes you do some random things for a big studio. Between two films in development, while waiting for a script to be written, the studio asked a few of us to come up with ideas for one of these fake fireplace videos. Here are all of my ideas. I didn’t time all these drawings so it’s a bit clunky and even. If you like these sort of things, you can find the finished fake fireplace video on YouTube - search for “Holiday Scenics - Snoggletog Log” and get cozy. Now I’ve never even worked on the Dragon’s films or TV series, so drawing all the characters was a bit of a challenge. Especially Toothless! I studied some reference and tried to do the best I could in such a short turnaround time. Sizes are a bit off too, since we were still determining the scale of the room. Oh! And I put this video together and added all these sound effects in @capcutapp , a new app I found. Really easy to use and you can even record your own voice and add it wherever you need.
