The North American B-25 Mitchell is a medium bomber from World War II that was used by many Allied air forces. Nearly B-25s were built and served in different roles. Probably the most famous mission flown with B-25s was the „Doolittle Raid“ under the command of Lieutenant Colonel James H. Doolittle. On 18 April 1942 a small group of 16 aircraft were launched from the US carrier Hornet and attacked Tokyo and other places in Japan. The inflicted damage was minimal, but the attack provided an important morale boost to the Americans. Of the 80 crew members, 77 survived the mission. Doolittle was awarded the Medal of Honor and was promoted to brigadier general. In this video I show you my build and interpretation of the recently released 1/72 scale Airfix B-25B, Doolittle Raid version, nicknamed „Hari Kari-er“. It is truly a fantastic kit with great details, high quality and perfect fit on almost every part. Instructions and decals are also very well made. Stay tuned to my channel and don’t miss out on up
