Winnie-the-Pooh chapter 3 in which Pooh and Piglet go hunting and nearly catch a Woozle. Piglet is clearing snow from the front of his house one day when he sees Pooh walking around in circles staring at the ground. When Piglet asks Winnie-the-Pooh what he is doing Pooh tells him that he is tracking footprints in the snow. Piglet wonders if it might be a Woozle. After a while, Winnie-the-Pooh stops again because there are now more tracks joining the original ones. Piglet is now getting frightened and decides to go home in a hurry. Winnie-the-Pooh hears Christopher Robin laughing from a tree up above where he has been watching Winnie-the-Pooh going around in circles for ages following his own paw marks in the snow. There was of course no Woozle!
