It's sad when you find a series with an intriguing premise and great potential, only for it to be filled with a large 85% of crappy filler. The plot device of having a man's 'life' stolen by the sea is a great idea for an anime and although I enjoyed parts of the series, I wouldn't recommend it as it's mostly filled with useless filler, talking dogs, plot holes and a lot of stupid side characters the were unnecessary and never given a proper conclusion.
