One of the more interesting pre WW1 forts surrounding the French city of Toul, constructed to protect the city, and in the line of the German advance in 1914. But what makes this special is what makes this interesting is the way it was upgraded and rebuilt, using the special French concrete. It ended up with a special layout we have not before seen, yet a few throw backs to forts of the previous century. Roger Cook and myself is going through the fort exploring the design and fighting positions to find out more. Please like and follow it helps and much more history is coming every week. And all the documents and files are being uploaded to the website where you can freely download and see all our research in the members area.
