What if the Friends theme song was played in 16 different drum styles? Here I am with a new video for you guys! :) This time I got back to my love for playing stuff from TV (do you remember my MacGyver drum version?! ^_^) but I wanted to do something , as always I'd say! eheh So here's the idea of playing it in different music genres but keeping the original instrumental/vocal parts. From a drum point of view, I find it more challenging (and fun!) than re-arranging and re-recording all the instruments parts in the various genres, don't you think? Here's you the list of the 16 music genres/drum styles: 1. 80'S POP 2. HARD ROCK 3. R&B / HIP-HOP 4. JAZZ 5. BOSSA NOVA 6. SOCA 7. SURF 8. SHUFFLE 9. NEW ORLEANS 2ND LINE 10. ROOTS 11. REGGAE 12. BOLERO 13. SKA 14. DRUM'N'BASS 15. HARDCORE PUNK 16. METAL (BLAST BEATS) And, as you may know, the song is I'll Be There for You, by The Rembrandts. Consider that some groove can be cataloged as a different genre/style so don't take this list too strictly. Just have fun with it, as I did! :) As for the previous one, I had the chance to play the new Roland V-Drums TD-50KV, BEAST of an electronic drumset!
