For photos of Iain's banjo visit the following Flickr set: Iain built his banjo in a single week in late May 2012, while in year S3 at The Royal High School in Edinburgh. The banjo is a 'tack head' type, with a goat skin held in place with furniture tacks. The neck is elm and the rim is mahogany. Iain rolled a tone ring from 6mm diameter brass bar, on a ring roller borrowed from Wester Hailes school. Steel strings are fitted. A short video re
