Massachusetts: Praying for the Boston police officer who was injured in the line of duty last night. A Boston police officer was injured, and a suspect was shot in an incident involving a stolen vehicle in the Forest Hills MBTA station parking lot on Thursday evening. A Boston police officer was hurt when he was hit by a stolen car in Jamaica Plain Thursday night, Police Commissioner Michael Cox said. Officers were called to the Forest Hills MBTA station at about 7:45 p.m. to assist in the recovery of a stolen motor vehicle. Cox said as officers approached, the man who was driving struck the officer. The officer who was hit, “discharged his weapon, striking the operator,“ Cox said.
