When school violence started to escalate in USA in the early 1980:s they made this slightly sci fi 1982 film and predicted how American schools would soon be like for real, ironically they were right. This is no longer a sci fi film, one could argue that reality is ever harsher than this film. When new music teacher Andrew Norris (Perry King) arrives at new school Lincoln high, Chicago, he unwittingly pits himself against a gang of nazis led by the legendary Stegman (Timothy van Patton (who shocks the audience with a beautiful self-written piano solo, not to mention the role of his life). as Norris continues to investigate the punks’ behavior, he finds himself and his wife caught up in a violent world of high school brutality. some of the best and worst moments in film history are caught within the action-packed 99 minutes. absolutely fantastic cult film, deserves many, many viewings... PS It only took West 8-9 years to go from sci-fi film to reality, referring to guards and cameras in schools. A Nazi gang leader named Stegman! My, my the world is full of surprises! Isnt it ?!
