How To Do Oblique Twists The Right Way

Though they’re tempting to rock out with speed, for best results, oblique twists need to be done slower, with more control, better posture, and less range of motion. Here’s the thing: If you’re all hunched over while performing this exercise, then chances are you’re not fully strengthening your obliques. 🤔 So, the next time you’re twisting away, interlace your hands and place them behind your neck. Keep your elbows out wide and pull your shoulder blades down, all the while maintaining a nice upright posture as you twist. 💡 While your range of motion will be considerably reduced, doing oblique twists this way will help you build stronger obliques faster, and maybe even improve your posture.
