CAA 2018 Winner Varvara Samarkina's submission

CHI introduced the Cultural Ambassador Award (CAA) in the summer of 2018. The award was granted to 19 Summer Work & Travel participants that acted as leaders and submit their entries to the contest describing what does it mean to be a Cultural Ambassador. The distinguished winners were selected to attend a conference hosted by CHI in Washington, D.C. The attendees engaged in lively panel discussions with officials at the Educational Cultural Affairs division of the Department of State and listened to inspiring speakers address the power and value of public diplomacy and cultural exchange.
