Sicilians put out fires with bottled water

Locals on the Sicilian island of Pantelleria resorted to using water bottles to put out small fires as firefighters battled bigger blazes in the region. According to the head of the region’s civil protection agency, arson is suspected in the case of two wildfires that forced around 30 people to seek refuge in boats or on safer parts of the island.
