Episode 59-Horns Up! Getting a didi to down town Shanghai where I went to the famous Inferno metal bar to chat with Vocalist of the heavy metal band Chimera Cult Jason Schaller. Originally from Ontario Canada, Jason has spent the last 9 years in Shanghai China. He has played in previous heavy metal bands PVA and Hitobashira which has toured Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan before forming Chimera Cult in 2020. We are lucky to get the exclusive mastered tracks “Have a Year“ and “Chimera Rise“ from their debut album which will be released next month with an album launch and listening party at Inferno. Jason has also been involved with the compilation album We Are Shanghai which give original bands from Shanghai the opportunity to be exposed.
