Leopold Kozeluch (1747-1818) was a contemporary of Haydn and Mozart. He lived and worked in Vienna. Today he is less famous as Haydn and Mozart, but in his time he was as famous as they were. I play this sonata, composed ca. 1790, on my fortepiano, built by Maene in Belgium. It is a copy of the Dulcken fortepiano (1793) in the Gemeentemuseum in The Hague. There are three movements: 1. Moderato 2. Poco adagio (at 9:05) 3. Rondo - Allegretto (at 12:15)
