Political biography of Ruuben Kaalep, a young MP from Estonian People’s Conservative Party, in the past, also a long-time leader of its youth wing Sinine Äratus who launched Etnofutur, the annual international conference cycle in Tallinn, is a bright example of regional solidarity in action, especially in the context of ongoing Russia's aggression against Ukraine and, potentially, Estonia and the entire region. A regular participant of the Intermarium Support Group's initiatives since 2017, he has become MP after 2019 parliamentary election in Estonia, which brought EKRE, as the third largest party, five out of fifteen cabinet positions. Not incidentally, Ruuben Kaalep was one of the main figures standing behind the introduction of the strategic course towards the regional integration in EKRE's party programme.
