Okay, I'm not sure I could do the Japanese words justice, so here's the English version. Hope you like it. This was me using the Jewel Atkens Lyrics but trying to sing them in a Kyu Sakamoto style ... if that makes sense ;) Just to be clear: I can't take the credit for the translation as I took that from a Jewel Atkins version. I think it would be so difficult to do a direct translation and to make it a reasonable song with rhyming couplets etc There are a few English “Versions“ out there, however I feel that this is the most accurate one at portraying the sentiment of the original (Note NOT a translation).
