Some pretty awesome obscure Nu Metal! RIP Ryan Moonlight (Vocals). Nervepitch were a nu metal band from Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. The band went in to record their debut demo CD on January 20th, 2001 and recorded the demo in 3 days. That would later become the EP “...how we change“. This garnered the band some attention and some spots at local festivals. By March of 2001, the song “Rest“ was nominated on for consideration but they didn't get picked. Come January of 2002 and they have a tracklisting and are planning on recording a follow up album and despite some setbacks like website breaches, some shows being cancelled, and how long it was taking to master the album, a year later on January 25th 2003, their debut full length “...my sombre existence...“ was released. Unfortunately, vocalist Ryan Moonlight in 2015 took his own life. After Nervepitch, he became a firefighter and served until his passing. For years, the entirety of the album ...my sombre existence... was not uncovered, with only 5 out of the 11 tracks being available to listen to in less than favorable quality. On April 28th, 2023, user Infrarain had a long and fruitful conversation with Julius (the guitarist), Julius released FLAC quality rips of both ...how we change and ...my sombre existence... as public Google Drive links on his Instagram, ending the search for the albums.
