The ALBERTINA shows more than 200 pastels, watercolours and drawings by Impressionists and Post-Impressionists. This is the first international show dedicated exclusively to this theme. Not only works on paper by Claude Monet, Éduard Manet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Edgar Degas, Camille Pissarro and Alfred Sisley but also by Eugéne Boudin, Berthe Morisot, Armand Guillaumin and Jean-Lois Forain are on display as well as the Postimpressionists Paul Signac and Georges Seurat or Paul Gauguin and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. Striking is the freshness of the lines by pencil, charcoal and chalk. Until May 13, 2012. More on
