Making handle and scabbard out of iroko wood for a damascus tanto blade forged by @sperber-knives Video about the blade here: This type of construction can be disassembled completely, the wood tapered pins is the only thing that locks the handle together, everything else is just friction. This is why I made this tapered pin jig: I love the look of this iroko wood but It might be too figured for a sleek look of this kind, it's kind of easy to see the split lines, in other kind of more homogeneous woods it would have been less noticeable.
