Gateway classic cars of Nashville is proud to digitally present this 1952 Morris Minor. I am going to go ahead and call this one a Morris Major! The Morris Minor was built to be inexpensive and sip on a gallon of petrol for many miles, well, the body of this Morris was attached to a 2”X3” square tube frame that has a built Chevrolet small block secured between the rails. This 350 cubic inch engine has been bored .40 over making it a 358CID with 10.5:1 compression Speed Pro® pistons and thumpy cam. Bolted to the short block is a set of LT 1 heads that have been outfitted with new valves and springs. Edlebrock® performer intake with a Demon® Carb on top supply the air and fuel while Headman® headers help the exhaust exit without restriction. A turbo 350 3 speed automatic transmission that is shifted via a B&M shifter. So, Morris body, Chevy engine and transmission, what else but a Ford® 9 inch would you expect? This Ford 9 inch has been narrowed and houses gears. Four links hold the rear axle in place with new coil over shocks. In the front new ball joints and brakes that where attached to an Opel GT provide the whoa to all the go under the hood. With all of this, this Morris Minor still has the working electric semaphores which are little flag that rise up behind the doors to indicate that the drive is about to make a turn but we all know this little car likes to go straight and in rapid fashion. This Street beast is a pocket full of fun and then some! Options for this Morris Minor for sale include: Seat belts, Vinyl interior, Kill switch, and aluminum alloy Rims.
