Location: Esther's Garden gallery at Aquaflora in The Netherlands Besides aquarium plants Aquaflora has also producing pond plants for over 50 years. It was a long cherished dream of Esther to bring both plant groups together in one tank. Our palupond is a paludarium where the area that usually is planted with terrarium plants, is now planted with marginal pond plants. Besides typical aquarium plants we added a dwarf water lily in the under water part. One day the water orchids are blooming, the next day the dwarf Nymphaea shows its flowers. Especially the marginal pond plants go through different stages according to the season of the year. This makes it very interesting, there is something new to discover every day!
