Hello folks! Today I'm restoring the quaddara! I finally found this item. It is extremely rare, not often found. This Persian sword was widely distributed in the 19th century on the territory of the Persia, Ottoman Empire, Southern Transcaucasia. The hilt of this blade is like a Caucasian dagger. Well, let's start the restoration! First of all, I started cleaning rust and dirt from the blade with a rust remover, and then with sand. After cleaning the blade, I found the stamp “gurda“. This stamp has a long history and can often be found on different blades, on the curves of the dagger and just Caucasian daggers. (You will find more information on the Internet on the topic “gurda stamp“). The grinding of the blade was done manually. I used sandpaper from 60-600 grit. The contours of the blade I sanded the slot with a machine and drilled an additional hole for the rivet in the middle of the future handle. For the handle of the blade, I used black hornbeam
