While the APTN News web team was digging around in the archives looking for footage for a year end video, we came across this gem. Cindy Blackstock gave a 20 minute opening statement to the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal in 2013 that launched a discrimination case against the federal government. Three years later, Canada would be found guilty of discrimination against First Nations children on reserve.
